Marcus Gössl
After finishing his studies in Wiesbaden, Reutlingen and Gothenburg with a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master in Industrial Engineering, Marcus joined German rail freight operator DB Cargo as a trainee in 2008.
After working in several projects with the subsidiaries of DB Cargo in France, UK and Poland Marcus focused on working in projects regarding technical innovation & digitalization of the Rolling Stock.
Marcus was leading a hybridization project for a shunting locomotive as well as working in the project TechLOK aiming to digitalize the Rolling Stock in DB Cargos digital Lab, amspire.
In 2017 Marcus joined Deutsche Bahn Group and is working for a newly implemented companywide technological Program called TecEX (Technical Excellence). Within this Program (currently 14 projects) Marcus is focusing and managing projects related to digitalization of DB’s assets like Condition Based Maintenance Rolling Stock or Big Data Topics related to DB’s assets.
